The 2004 edition of the Expocomfort fair has just closed, and a percentage increase into double figures compared to the 2002 edition only confirms the international leadership of this show in the sector relating to central heating, air conditioning, bathroom furnishing, sanitary techniques and related areas.
Fime has been present at Expocomfort for only two editions and this year was excellently placed inside the Milan Fair area with a stand in the pavilion devoted to ventilation. Their neighbours were the most important names in the sector, including their biggest competitor, the world leader EBM-PABST.
The exhibition of products was divided into different fields, displaying both the range of motors for central heating and for domestic appliances. The section concerning domestic boilers presented Fime ventilators – including the pre-mix model produced in line with the aims of the Kyoto Protocol to reduce greenhouse-effect emissions – alongside Roal’s electronic control boards and a stainless steel shell built by Ola.
The medium-sized stand was a vibrant, colourful combination of red, black and silver, with motors suspended in the air and illuminated by tubes of light. Covering the centre of the stand was a large circular screen whose projected flame-like lighting effects produced a profound impression of domestic warmth.
It is becoming more and more possible for the Group to provide customers with a complete service, offering products that cross over different industrial sectors, and linking together ever more closely the people who make up the great company known as Elica.
