Love Design

Elica will be taking part in a special fair held to aid cancer research at Milan’s Contemporary Art Pavilion (PAC)

“Quality of life” is the leitmotiv that runs through all Elica’s activities, from production to relationships with employees, customers, suppliers and the area in which the company is based.

And this philosophy of “well-being” explains why the Group is taking part in LOVE DESIGN®, an event held for the collection of funds that will be donated to cancer research.

The initiative is promoted by the Lombardy section of the AIRC (Italian Cancer Research Association) and the ADI (Association for Industrial Design) and will take the form of a special fair at Milan’sContemporary Art Pavilion (PAC), running from 23rd to 25th October.

Over 50 producers of many of the world’s most prestigious design brands will be offering a selection of their products to a public of connoisseurs, appreciative admirers of objects that in terms of style and trend are regarded as some of the present moment’s most representative.

The Elica Group will be participating with several outstanding models from their collections, including a Mini Om.

All the products will be on sale, and  conditions are designed to be both extremely favourable and highly practical, including the opportunity to have your purchases delivered to your home – a formula adopted to add incentive to the sales and at the same time offer the most useful possible contribution to support cancer research.

LOVE DESIGN®’s objectives, as the organisers have been careful to emphasise, are twofold: “on the one hand, to promote a new way of raising awareness concerning the activity of the AIRC and collect funds to help and support it, and, on the other, to create a new occasion to promote design within a much wider cultural context involving the social life of Milan.”

Highlighting the special charitable context of the fair, Elica and all the other companies taking part in the project have agreed not to have their logos appear in any of the event’s  publicity material.
