On Wednesday 14th Jenuary in Milan, at its Via Pontaccio show room in the Brera district, Elica played host to Lagostina for an event dedicated to innovation in the kitchen.
Just a few days after MACEF, the International Fair for the House, Lagostina presented an excitingly fresh innovation – employing exclusive technology designed to fuse colour with steel – for the culinary equipment sector: the Red Collection, the first line of saucepans in coloured steel.
Recognising the Fabriano company as a cutting-edge brand in terms of kitchen innovation, it was only natural that Lagostina should choose Elica for its demonstration.
For over thirty years, Elica has dedicated itself and its research to creating products that combine technology and design to turn food preparation into the most enjoyable experience possible, patenting a range of new items guaranteed to free the kitchen environment from unpleasant odours and noise.
Bringing their shared concept of excellence to the Brera showroom, Elica and Lagostina offered a true opportunity to bring out the full value of what innovation can offer to the art of cooking.  
Lagostina’s innovative Red Collection and Elica’s high-tech products were both put to the test, creating a perfect marriage of complementary performances.
There was also a highly appreciated demonstration of show cooking, entrusted to the mastery of chef Csaba Dalla Zorza, who served a selection of original dishes in a perfectly achieved synthesis of tradition and innovation.
So it was a real hands-on experience in the Brera showroom, bringing together the expertise of craftsmen dedicated to making the culinary arts an even richer pleasure, with Elica and Lagostina technology at your fingertips. The Lagostina Red Collection will be on show at the showroom until 31st January.
